Berry and Heady honored for service

Judy Berry and Cindy Heady, long-time employees of the Elizabethtown Farm Service Agency, are retiring.

Berry began working for the Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service office as a temporary employee in 1987. She left in 1991 to take a position with the Park Service but returned to ASCS in 1993.

The ASCS was merged with other agriculture agencies in 1994 to create the FSA office.

Heady began working at the office as a temporary employee in 1987. She became a permanent employee in 1987.

They’ve worked for three office managers – Shirley F. Harned, George Shirley and John Goff – at five different office locations.

A reception will be held in their honor 1-4 p.m. Aug. 31 at the FSA office, 250 Sportsman Lake Road, Elizabethtown. The office faces Lincoln Parkway.
