Final sentencing paperwork was completed for Pascal "Pat" Jones, 51, of 130 Willow Springs in New Hope, last week in Marion County. Jones was sentenced to 11 years in prison for first-degree rape in October 2011.

Jones was sentenced on one count, although his original indictment included 112 total charges. He had been accused of first-degree rape (three counts), first-degree sodomy (three counts), first-degree sex abuse (43 counts), first-degree unlawful transaction with a minor under 16 (21 counts), unlawful transaction with a minor under 18 (40 counts), and intimidating a witness in a legal process (two counts) for incidents that allegedly occurred in 1998, 2008 and 2009.

In November, Jones was sentenced to 11 years in prison in Nelson County for first-degree sexual abuse and first-degree rape.

The crimes occurred on a property spanning the Marion-Nelson County line, mostly in 2008, according to the Nelson County Sheriff's Department. The victims were two young juveniles.

The sentencing in Marion County came at the end of October but the sentencing documentation was completed last week, according to Donna Dehoney, legal assistant to Judge Allan Ray Bertram.
