As the New Haven community continues to recover from the damage wrought by the flood in early May, Nelson Fiscal Court approved an advancement of $75,000 to the Kentucky Railway Museum last week.

Nelson County Judge/Executive Dean Watts said the county government will be reimbursed at a later date from the state government through funds from the Federal Emergency Management Administration. He said the emergency loan was necessary to help the business maintain its cash flow and continue repairs.
