By Nathaniel Bryan

A professional wakeboarding event rips Elizabethtown's Freeman Lake Park this week.

The park, located off U.S. 31W in E'town, is set to host the MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour’s fourth stop of the season July 18-19. The PWT is part of the King of Wake series that features the world’s top professional wakeboarders, also known as rippers.

The Elizabethtown stop is the fourth of five on the tour. The tour already has held competitions in Fort Worth, Texas; Pleasant Prairie, Wis.; and Knoxville, Tenn., and will complete its season in Reno, Nev., on Aug. 14-16.
