On Nov. 2, LaRue County voters will decide which candidates will take the lead in the community for the next few years.
According to the latest voter registration statistics supplied by the Secretary of the State’s office, there are 9,611 registered voters in the county – 6,360 Democrats; 2,787 Republicans; and 464 listed as “other.” There are 5,014 women registered to vote; 4,597 men.
In the May primary, only 32 percent of registered LaRue Countians made it to the polls, despite a large number of local races.
