Hodgenville City Police continue to search for the driver of a small, tan GMC pickup.
The white, slim-built male may have attempted to abduct a child who was walking home from school on Lincoln Boulevard last week.
Police Chief Steve Johnson received a second report of a truck matching the description Monday on South Greensburg Street.
“This time he got out of the truck and started walking toward the child,” said Johnson. “He saw the grandmother on the porch and (he) went back to the truck and took off. If anyone see this truck or sees someone hanging around where small children are playing, please call the police (270-358-3013).”
Last week, a 12-year-old boy reported the driver had pulled over and motioned for him to come near. No physical contact took place but the boy became concerned about the driver’s actions and called his mother, who worked nearby. She picked him up.
Extra patrols are being made around Hodgenville, Johnson said.
