Wanton endangerment
Rachel L. McConnell, 26, of New Hope was charged with DUI, suspended operator’s license, expired registration plate, expired registration receipt, assault 4th, wanton endangerment, second, endangering welfare of a minor; disorderly conduct; possession of open alcohol container in vehicle; and resisting arrest. The offenses allegedly occurred Feb. 21 on Slack Road. She was judicially released.
Theft investigations
The LaRue County Sheriff’s office is investigating the theft of a 2006 Honda Shadow motorcycle from a Bailey Road residence. The bike is valued at $5,000. It was taken between Dec. 31 and Jan. 21. LCSO is also investigating the theft of tools valued at $2,400 from a farm shed; and a 250EX Honda ATV valued at $2,500 from a Magnolia residence. Scam
The LaRue County Sheriff’s office is investigating a pair of possible scams. One is a donation request by the U.S. Deputy Sheriff’s Association requesting a $25 donation; the other is a notice of parcel containing jewelry. The recipient is asked to pay $50 with a credit card. Under the influence
Two LaRue County High School students arrived at school Friday, “under the influence,” according to Hodgenville City Police. One 18-year-old faces charges; the minor was referred to a court-designated worker.
Receiving stolen property
Daniel Walter Roberts, 23, of Hodgenville, was charged with receiving stolen property over $300 by Kentucky State Police Feb. 17. He was lodged in the Hardin County jail.
