 Western Kentucky University honored 62 students from eight area high schools for their academic achievements. The group has an average ACT composite score of 29.15 and grade-point average of 3.92 and included 40 Kentucky Governor’s Scholars and three National Merit Semifinalists. Nine LaRue County High School students were honored at a luncheon Nov. 7 at the State Theater in Elizabethtown.
