Hodgenville’s Pamida offered 95 percent savings on its remaining inventory prior to its closing Saturday. The general merchandise chain merged with Shopko – and will re-open as Shopko. Left, Misty, Madison and Tommy Wilmoth and Eddie Arcaro pushed a full cart to their vehicle. Misty, a 4-H agent, stocked up on green folders for 2 cents each. In the background, workers began painting a new sign on the building. The pharmacy remains open as the building’s interior is refurbished. The Hodgenville store opened in 1999.
