LaRue County farmers have been harvesting soybeans during the last couple of weeks. The field pictured is located between Lincoln Parkway and Old E’town Road. Soybeans are grown on about 1.3 million acres in Kentucky generating about $300 million, according to the state Extension Service. It’s the second largest row crop in the United States.
