The children at Friendship Baptist Church turned the pastor blue. As an incentive, Bro. Dewey Keys Jr., a die-hard U of L fan, agreed to wear a U of K shirt to church. The children worked all summer filling a jar with beads. They received beads as a reward for attending church, bringing their Bible, learning passages, bringing visitors and participation in class. When the jar was full, Bro. Keys turned blue and the children learned things that will help them throughout their walk in life. Bro.
