Ben Locke, a student at LaRue County High School, recently represented LaRue County 4-H and Kentucky by attending the NICE Conference in Virginia. He first participated in the American Private Enterprise System at which he earned the right to attend the Kentucky Youth Seminar. At the State Seminar, Ben was selected to advance to the national conference which was held in July. He attended with delegates from across the country and learned in depth about the importance of cooperatives and all types of businesses, but also about the importance of agriculture and its future. Here, he attended a dinner function while at the NICE conference.
