Kerry White, second from right, presented a check for $2,611.00 to MTPR Norman Chaffins of the Kentucky State Police. White is one of the three trustees overseeing the Dennis and Cindy Higdon reward money account that was initially earmarked for the arrest and conviction of the suspects that burglarized the Higdon home while they were at their son’s funeral. Since there were no credible tips by the public that led to the arrests, the Higdons decided to donate it to Trooper Island and Post 4’s Shop With A Trooper program.
