The 2009 County Homemaker Scholarship recipient is Cortney Pearman.
Pearman, who graduates from LaRue County High School this month, plans to attend Western Kentucky University and major in early childhood development – eementary education.
Her activities include being a nursing home volunteer and server at the Kelly Dean Sanders fundraising dinner. She also worked this year as a student office assistant at the high school front desk. During the last two years, she has been a participant in the 4-H American Private Enterprise System program, Champions Against Drugs, Community Voluntary Service Club, National Honor Society, Student Council, Teen Court, yearbook staff and Youth Salute.
She is the daughter of Curtis and Robin Pearman of Hodgenville.
