Hinton's Orchard and Farm Market plans a new agritourism outing today. The family business will conduct its first Strawberry Festival from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. They hope to make it an annual event.
A car show is among the event's highlights and a pie-eating contest is scheduled for 1 p.m. In addition to enjoying the spring treat of fresh strawberries, strawberry shortcake and pies, hamburgers and hot dogs will be available off the grill.
Of course, strawberries will be available for sale and you can save by picking them off the vine yourself.
