One-run games a pain for Lady Hawks

LaRue County’s Lady Hawks enjoyed spring break in Fort Walton Beach but struggled on the field as they went 1-4 at the Florida Beach Bash.
Every game was decided by one point.
“The Beach Bash was an exciting five games for the softball team,” said head coach Aaron Howell. “Although we lost four one-run games, I believe our team vastly improved. I’m looking forward to seeing if our play in Florida continues as we enter the second half of our season.”
The Ladies one-point losses came at the hands of Glasgow (7-8); Henry County (5-6); Trinity, Whitesville (3-4); and Crestview, Fla. (1-2)
The Lady Hawks ended the trial with a 4-3 win over Muhlenberg County.
