Snapped power lines and downed trees delayed production of The LaRue County Herald News. The newspaper is printed in Elizabethtown and the presses were without power for more than 18 hours.
The newspaper will be completed and delivered as soon as conditions allow.
Papers were delivered to most rack locations and stores with power Wednesday evening. Carriers will be running routes and delivering where possible Thursday morning. Customers who received the paper by mail can expect a one-day deliver delay as well.
