  The following cases of Driving Under the Influence and the resolution of those cases are found in LaRue District Court: ADE is an abbreviation for Alcohol Driver Education, KAPS stands for Kentucky Alternative Program. A service fee is added to all DUIs and court costs are added to all charges. Birth year is in parenthesis.

Joshua A. Akers (1984), operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, guilty. Operator license suspended 12 months, KAPS, ADE, sentenced to seven days, credit for one day served; fined $923. Charged Feb. 17, disposed Aug. 22.

Carroll E. Corbin Jr. (1968), operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, guilty; resisting arrest, guilty. Operator license suspended 90 days, KAPS, ADE, sentenced to 48 hours on DUI, suspended; sentenced to 10 days on second charge, suspended, probation two years, fined $983. Charged Feb. 22, disposed Aug. 1.

Timothy Gibson (1961), operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, guilty; speeding 12 mph over limit, merged. Operator license suspended 90 days. Sentenced to 48 hours, suspended, KAPS, 90 days ADE; fined $743. Charged Feb. 25, disposed Aug. 15.

Shannon W. Arnette (1983), no or expired registration, guilty; no or expired registration receipt, merged; one headlight, merged; rear license not illuminated, guilty; operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, guilty. Costs waived except DUI fine. Fined $758. Operator license suspended 90 days, KAPS, sentenced to two days, credit for one day served. Charged March 4, disposed Aug. 1.

Maxwell White (1990), operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, guilty; failure of owner to maintain required insurance, guilty; careless driving, guilty; leaving scene of accident, guilty. Sentenced to 48 hours. Operator license suspended 90 days, ADE. Fined $743. Charged March 6, disposed July 25.
