The following cases of Driving Under the Influence and the resolution of those cases are found in LaRue District Court: ADE is an abbreviation for Alcohol Driver Education, KAPS stands for Kentucky Alternative Program. A service fee is added to all DUIs and court costs are added to all charges. Birth year is in parenthesis.

Hamilton C. Heyworth (1983), operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, guilty (sentenced to four days); leaving scene of accident, guilty (sentenced to 30 days); failure of non owner operator to maintain required insurance, guilty (sentenced to 10 days); violation of EPO (sentenced to 10 days); disarming a peace officer, amended to attempt to disarm a peace officer, guilty (sentenced to 90 days); resisting arrest, guilty (sentenced to 10 days); and no operator license, guilty. Operator license suspended 90 days, ADE, credit for time served, 11 days; fined $1,328. Charged May 26, disposed June 5.

Christopher A. Jewell (1987), speeding 7 mph over limit, merged; rear license not illuminated, merged; failure to dim lights (six months diversion); operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, second offense, guilty. Operator license suspended 12 months, one year ADE, KAPS, sentenced to seven days, suspended, fined $923. Charged May 5, disposed May 22.

Paula M. Hillebrand (1957), operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, second offense, guilty; buy or possession of drug paraphernalia, guilty. Costs waived, operator license suspended 12 months, sentenced to seven days on DUI, 10 days suspended on drug paraphernalia, two years unsupervised probation, fined $978. Lee H. Malkin (1979), operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, guilty; operating on suspended or revoked license, guilty; possession of open alcoholic beverage container in motor vehicle, merged. Operator license suspended 90 days, $130 court costs waived, 90 days KAPS, fined $993. Sentenced to 48 hours, credit for 24 hours served; 10 days suspended. Charged May 19, disposed June 5.

Virginia Decker (1989), operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, guilty; failure of owner to maintain required insurance, merged. Operator license suspended 90 days, ADE, KAPS, $130 court costs waived, fined $773. Sentenced to 48 hours. Charged May 28, disposed June 5.

Robert D. Logsdon (1993), operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, aggravator, second offense, guilty. Operator license suspended 12 months, $130 court costs waived, sentenced to 14 days, fined $848. Charged June 7, disposed June 12.

Michael D. Lee (1960), operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, not guilty. Charged Sept. 11, 2012, disposed May 17, 2013.

Hannah G. Partridge (1992), operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, guilty. Operator license suspended 90 days, $130 court costs waived, KAPS, sentenced to 48 hours, credit for 24 hours served, fined $773. Charged May 18, disposed May 29.

Dennis B. Brown (1993), operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, amended to reckless driving, guilty. Fined $243, sentenced to 10 days, suspended, probated, no further violations for two years. Charged Aug. 5, 2012, disposed May 31, 2013.

Eric Burrell (1985), operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs (not guilty), amended to reckless driving, guilty. Fined $168, court costs waived. Charged June 2, 2012, disposed June 12.
