The following cases of Driving Under the Influence and the resolution of those cases are found in LaRue District Court: ADE is an abbreviation for Alcohol Driver Education, KAPS stands for Kentucky Alternative Program. A service fee is added to all DUIs and court costs are added to all charges. Birth year is in parenthesis.
Edward T. McLain (1983), operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, second, amended to careless driving, guilty; one headlight, guilty; no or expired tags, merged; failure of non-owner to maintain required insurance, guilty. Fined $333. Charged Sept. 7, 2013, disposed Jan. 8, 2014.
George Blanton (1961), operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs (not guilty), amended to alcohol intoxication, guilty. Court cost waived, fined $63. Charged Dec. 8, 2012, disposed Feb. 18, 2014.
Thomas D. England (1987) operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, guilty; speeding 26 mph over, guilty; no tail lamps, guilty; disregarding stop sign, merged. Operator license suspended 90 days, sentenced to four days, ADE, KAPS, fined $783. Charged March 16, disposed April 2.
