The Greensburg Street water tower project remains on schedule, Mayor Terry Cruse told city council members Aug. 9.
The sidewalks on Greensburg Street – a bonus from the water tower project – are almost finished and work on driveways will begin soon.
Workers will begin painting the tower, inside and out, this week.
Cruse said several streets have been blacktopped including College, Patterson and its connector, Walters, Churchill and West Main.
