A New Haven resident, Josh Geron, is asking the Fiscal Court to change the name of Dean Watts Park to Jason Ellis Park, in honor of the Bardstown Police Officer and youth coach who was murdered May 25.
Geron sent a letter last Friday to the Nelson County Fiscal Court, Bardstown Police and local media asking that the park, which is named for the current county judge-executive, be named for Ellis instead.
