New Haven man indicted for cultivation of marijuana

 Matthew Eric Rogers, 25, New Haven, was charged with cultivating marijuana five plants or more, possession of a firearm while committing an offense, trafficking in marijuana, second-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia.

Bail was set at $5,000 cash or property, plus conditions. He was arraigned Jan. 17 in Nelson Circuit Court Jan. 17.

The indictment of a person by a grand jury or otherwise is an accusation only and that person is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
