New Haven man charged with sexual abuse of child

SPRINGFIELD — A New Haven man faces 244 counts of sex abuse in the first degree. Bobby L. Hudson, 66, of Fifty Street in New Haven, has been charged with 36 counts of sex abuse, first degree (Class C felony) for incidents that allegedly took place between 2002 and Feb. 23, 2005 in Washington County. According to the indictment, Hudson is charged with sexual abuse of a child under the age of 12 years old. In addition, he is charged with 208 counts of sex abuse, first degree (Class D felony) for allegedly having sexual contact with a child under the age of 16.
