A New Haven man has been charged with cultivating marijuana, five or more plants, at his River Road residence.
James Larence Johnson, 48, was charged also with use or possession of drug paraphernalia.
Deputies Russell McCoy and Matt Darst said they found 57 marijuana plants, grow lights and potting soil inside the home when they served a warrant July 22.
He was lodged in the LaRue County Detention Center. He will be arraigned today in LaRue District Court.
