Hart Fiscal Court opens bids for project

A bridge is being planned on Die-Shiboley Church Road over Lynn Camp Creek.

Hart County Fiscal Court opened bids at its Jan. 7 meeting, awarding low bid to Hornback Construction of Hodgenville, according to a report in The News-Herald.

The bridge over Lynn Camp Creek will replace a concrete ford of the creek which allows water to pass through three pipes in the concrete. The area is near the LaRue-Hart County line.

Judge/Executive Terry Martin said the county frequently has to clear the pipes of debris washed in them. The plan is to raise the bridge two feet over the creek and allow the water to flow freely.
