-A A +A

Democratic candidate actually registered as 'other'

By The Staff

Of the 118 votes garnered by Frances Robertson May 18 in her campaign for Nelson County Clerk, none of them were her own.

While attempting to vote at the New Haven School precinct during the primary, Robertson, 51, discovered she was ineligible to vote because she had registered as “other” on her voter registration card, Nelson County Deputy Clerk Kim Bryan said.

“She discovered it herself, a poll worker called in and couldn’t find her (on the voter registration,” Bryan said.
