Nationwide Uniform Corporation on old Shepherdsville Road celebrated 50 years in Hodgenville last weekend with a picnic at Sportsman’s Lake for employees and their families, drawing several hundred people.
The company, which began production lines in Hodgenville in 1961, is the nation’s largest supplier of police dress (Class A) uniforms and also makes them for the United States military, postal employees, Naval Academy, police, sheriffs and fire department personnel.
