National Retired Federal Employees elect officers

Elizabethtown’s National Active and Retired Federal Employees Chapter 1050 met Feb 7 at Nolin RECC.  
The Chapter held their quarterly potluck and 41 members attended. Chapter president Kay Bennett announced that the NARFE State Convention would be April 12-14 at the Clarion in Lexington.  Anyone wishing to be a delegate or attend must notify her no later than March 7. Chapter 1050 will pay the registration fee for those wanting to be delegates.  
The Chapter has 383 paid members and encourages all NARFE eligibles to join or renew memberships. The service center is open 8-11 a.m. and 1-2 p.m. on the first Monday of each month at Nolin RECC. Call service center officer Sam Alexander at 270-769-1264 for assistance and further information.
The next meeting is 11 a.m. March 7 at Nolin RECC in Elizabethtown. Carol Baldwin from Lincoln Trail Area Development State Health Insurance Program will provide information on Medicare and other Insurance options in the state.
