National Honor Society inducts new members

Students will receive special tassels to wear at graduation

The annual National Honor Society Induction Ceremony will be 2 p.m. May 3 in the LaRue County High School auditorium, with a reception following.

Students being inducted into the National Honor Society for having at least a 95 percent GPA, and displaying outstanding leadership, and service in the community are Emily Dewitt, Brent Gozzard, Kellise Hoefer, Michael Huff, Shelly Meredith, Dani Peeler, Ryan Ramsey, Shelby Rogers, Andrew Skaggs, Abby Sullivan, Kristin Thompson, Lyndsay Whitlock and Valerie Whitlock.

At the ceremony, graduating seniors will receive their National Honor Society Tassel to wear at graduation. These tassels are donated from the Hodgenville Woman’s Club. These seniors are: Tori Banks, Lindsey Boone, Hannah Canter, Haley Carrico, Justin Chelf, Ashley Clairmont, Caleb Cobb, Olivia Curry, Samantha Daniels, Betsy Durham, Ashley Hedgespeth, Veronica Helm, Meigan Jewell, Amanda Kee, Autumn Kidd, Max McCubbin, Shanoa Milby, Staci Morris, Chelsie Morrison, Nathan Paden, Cortney Pearman, Allie Perkins, Caleb Phelps, Octavia Phillips, Charla Piper, Tiffany Rock, Juan Rojas, Christian Seymour, Ashley Stearman, Cody Sullivan, Andrew Tucker, Jessica M. Wells and Jason Wheeler.

Also at the ceremony, these juniors will receive a certificate of accomplishment for maintaining their status as a National Honor Society member: David Blair, David Cruse, Craig Dunn, Eli Ernst, Carley Ferguson, Gretchen Fraze, Melanie Huhn, Katy Nash and Kellie Owen.
