A couple of scams have been reported recently by LaRue County residents.
The first originated in Texas, according to LaRue County Chief Deputy Russell McCoy. An 80-year-old woman’s credit card was stolen in that state. The thief racked up some pricey exercise equipment on the card.
The action then moved to LaRue County.
“The item was supposed to be shipped here,” McCoy said.
