Honk or moo if you like milk, Kool Aid and fall festivals.
The 41st Greensburg Rotary Club Cow Days will offer fun, excitement and a cow that gives Kool-Aid, on the square Friday and Saturday Sept. 20-21.
Kids can milk Annie the life-size, fiber glass Holstein and get their favorite flavor of Kool Aid. They will also have a great time bouncing around in the large inflatables presented by the Greensburg Baptist Church.
The highly acclaimed Monarchs from Louisville will take the stage at 7 p.m. (central time) Friday with their classic good-time rock 'n roll. Other performers who will be on stage during the two day event include Trent Ford, Chase McDaniel, the Thin Line Band, One Shot Johnny, DeWayne Spaw, Rockcastle, Driven and many gospel groups.
Other popular events include a quilt show, volleyball tournament, and a 3-on-3 basketball tournament. A 5K run will start at 8 am Saturday.
A Rotary Club country ham breakfast will be served up starting at 6 a.m. Saturday in the Community Center.
Other Saturday attractions include a car and bike show, tractor show and Cow Days pageants.
For applications, times, and locations go to greensburgcowdays.com or call Rotary President Paige Hall at 270-405-1856.
