MILITARY: Petty Officer DeSpain

 Petty Officer third class Maggie DeSpain is serving in the U.S. Navy. She is pictured with her F/A 18 E/F Super Hornet on the flight deck of the SuperCarrier, U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln during a deployment to the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz, Dec. 2011 to August 2012. Assigned to the StrikeFighter Squadron VFA-2 Bounty Hunters, Petty Officer DeSpain’s duties included plane captain, F/A 18 final systems checker, with career assignment to Aviation Ordnance. Home base is Lemoore Naval Air Station, California.
