Mid-Kentucky Chorus will perform 7:30 p.m. Oct. 6 at St. James Church, 307 W. Dixie Hwy., Elizabethtown.
The concert is in conjunction with the Lincoln Days Celebration and the traveling Smithsonian Exhibit. The cantata, under the direction of Teresa Tedder, honors President Lincoln.
The piece includes parts of his famous speeches and key moments in his life as President. Other music selections include pieces dear to Mr. Lincoln, including many of the songs written by Stephen Foster, hymns, ballads and familiar Civil War songs.
