Michelle Seymour to play at State Tennis Tourney

Eleven area singles players or doubles teams qualified for the KHSAA State Tournament, which will be held May 18-19 in Lexington.
LaRue County senior Michelle Seymour earned her third state trip with some spirited play. Seymour pushed through for a 6-0, 5-7, 6-2 victory over seventh-seeded Aryn Massengale from Taylor County in the quarterfinals before giving AnnLauren Fiepke a fight in a 6-3, 6-2 semifinal loss.
