Meredith sworn in

Surrounded by family and friends, Representative-elect Michael Meredith, R-Brownsville (19th District), was sworn in during a Dec. 30 ceremony held at the Old Courtroom of the Edmonson County Courthouse in Brownsville. Meredith was elected in November to serve as the 19th District State Representative for LaRue, Edmonson and Hart Counties. Meredith is the youngest legislator in Frankfort and only the fifth legislator age 25 or younger in Kentucky history.
