Two men were charged April 6 with trafficking in marijuana.
Jackie Allen Miller, 47, and Marshall Dillon Miller, 18, both of Wonderland Road, Upton, were charged with trafficking in marijuana, less than 8 ounces; possession of marijuana; and possession of drug paraphernalia after officers served a search warrant on the residence, according to Deputy Eric Williamson.
Williamson said the trafficking charge was enhanced to a felony due to the presence of seven weapons (five long guns and two handguns) in the residence. Officers found also scales, money, bongs and pipes.
Sheriff Bobby Shoffner and Deputies Russell McCoy and Brian Smith assisted with the investigation.
The Millers were lodged in the LaRue County Detention Center and will be arraigned Wednesday in LaRue District Court.
