Memorial bike run nets 77 toys for Santa's Helpers

 The Trey Zwicker Memorial Toy Bike Run held on Oct. 13 netted 77 new toys for the Santa’s Helpers. Monetary totals are not available at this time.

The bike run was organized by family members of 14-year-old Trey who was found beaten and stabbed to death on May 11, 2011.

Trey’s stepfather, Joshua Gouker, and 15-year-old stepbrother Joshua Young, have been indicted on murder charges. They have pleaded not guilty in the well-publicized case. A trial date has been set for this fall.

The fundraiser was held at the LaRue County Fairgrounds.
