Interim Mayor Kenny DeVore had a laundry list of needs and wants, ranging from a fire truck to fire extinguishers, to present last week to Hodgenville City Council.
He received approval to check on a fire truck for the city. The 1992 E-One truck is equipped with a 110-foot ladder, seating for six in an air-conditioned cab, a 260-gallon water tank and 40-gallon foam tank. It has 3,840 hours on the engine and comes with $10,000 worth of parts.
The price tag is $60,000.
