Slick roads contributed to a two-vehicle crash that injured one driver Monday afternoon.
David Brewer of Warren Road suffered a serious leg injury and a head injury when the truck he was driving collided with another in a curve on Warren Road in the Levelwoods section. The collision occurred about 1:30 p.m.
Deputy Russell McCoy said the wreck occurred on a shaded area of road that was “solid ice.” While most of the roadways were clear after the slight accumulation of snow over the weekend, the curve was extremely slick, McCoy said.
