James Jeffries, 67, of Hodgenville, was arrested June 23 on indictments by a LaRue County grand jury. The four-count indictment alleges that between Aug. 1, 2009 and Oct. 06, 2010 in LaRue County, Jeffries committed the offense of sexual abuse in the first degree by subjecting a juvenile who is incapable of consent because the juvenile is less than 12 years old to sexual contact.
Jeffries was lodged in the LaRue County Detention Center.
The case was investigated by Det. Jason Propes of the Kentucky State Police.
