Four other charges related to contact with 13-year-old

A 30-year-old Hodgenville man has been charged with first-degree rape of a young teenager.
Troy Eugene Tarter was arrested Jan. 2 at a relative’s house following an extended investigation, according to LaRue County Deputy Matt Darst.
Tarter was charged also with first-degree sodomy, first-degree sexual abuse and two counts of unlawful transaction with a minor.
The alleged victim is a 13-year-old acquaintance of Tarter’s, Darst said.
Chief Deputy Marcus Jackson assisted with the investigation.
