A Hodgenville man has admitted he stole a jar containing money for a sick child.
Tyrone Lee, 32, was charged April 8 with theft by unlawful taking after a store clerk noticed a donation jar was missing.
LaRue County Deputy Robby Brownfield reviewed surveillance footage to determine what happened. According to his citation, Lee entered IGA Express about 9:22 p.m. and approached the counter to pay for some items. He placed his jacket over the donation jar and carried it from the store.
