A Magnolia man was injured in a pickup vs. tractor collision Friday afternoon.
About 4:30 p.m., David Owen, 52, of Magnolia was driving a 1973 John Deere 4430 tractor north on U.S. 31E. The tractor, which was pulling a fertilizer buggy, attempted a left turn into a field, according to Deputy Matt Darst’s report.
Owen turned into the path of a southbound 1997 Ford F150 pickup driven by Manley Cruse, 74, of Magnolia. The vehicles hit head-on and both had extensive front end damage.
