The lamb opened one of the seals; the Lord is like a lamb, gentle, compassionate, loving, and kind, innocently suffering and dying to atone for our sins. Revelation 6:1
In Revelation, lion and lamb combine two elements of majesty and meekness. At the very center of the universe at the throne room of God there is the lamb who is Jesus Christ, who represents total sacrificial and giving love. At the command center of God sits Jesus Christ the lamb who died so that humankind could be set free. This real God who is really there is so incredibly wondrous, giving and kind. How could anybody refuse to accept him?
First seal: The conqueror, the antichrist on a white horse. Revelation 6:2 says … “a white horse, and he who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer.”
Christ, who is the Lamb of God, is being worshipped as the seals are opened. According to the dispensationalist viewpoint this is the beginning of what is called the Great Tribulation, with the rider on the white horse (v. 2) being a counterfeit Christ, riding to win the world’s worship and submission. (Daniel 7:7)
Second seal: Conflict on earth. Revelation 6:3-4. Another horse, fiery red, went out. And it was granted to the one who sat on it to take peace from the earth, and that people should kill one another; and there was given to him a great sword. He takes from the earth, and that people should kill one another; and there was given to him a great sword.
I would like to say if you are a born-again Christian, you will be raptured out of these things and we need to understand Revelation so we can tell the lost they can flee the tribulation period.
