Local drivers honored at Bluegrass Speedway

Several drivers were honored at Saturday’s awards celebration at Bluegrass Speedway. The top 10 in each division received plaques.
Track promoters David and Anita Ferrell received the STARS Midwest Dirt Racing League Promoter of the Year Award. The Ferrells announced they will not return as promoters next season. They’ve spent 12 seasons at the track.

Bryan Barber, formerly of Buffalo, finished 10th place in the final 2011 Country 100.9 MIKE FM UMP Modified track points at Bluegrass Speedway in Bardstown. Barber also won the 2011 championship with the American Modified Series. Barber now resides in Greensburg.
