More than 550 children, grades one to seven, participated in Fall Super Saturdays sponsored by The Center for Gifted Studies at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green.
The 39 hands-on, minds-on enrichment classes encouraged children to explore their interests in a challenging, yet nurturing environment. Children from 49 school districts in Kentucky (plus children from Indiana and Tennessee) attended the two-and-a-half-hour classes for four Saturdays in November. Hundreds of parents attended the Parent Seminars to learn more about the needs of their children.
