LaRue County native Michael A. Crain will have a book signing at Lincoln’s Loft 1-3 p.m. Nov. 21.
He is the son of the late George H. Crain Sr. and Agnes Crain of Buffalo where he was raised with his 10 siblings and learned family values, hard work and spun countless characters and adventures in his young mind.
Crain’s book called “Babbott and Babboo” is for young readers about two fun-loving monkeys trying to stay out of trouble. What happens when a snake’s tail is mistaken for a nice, big banana?
Crain graduated from LaRue County High School in 1988, and then joined the U.S. Army serving several overseas duties with the 101st Airborne Division including the Persian Gulf, Desert Shield and Desert Storm.
Crain became a martial arts instructor; a 2002 United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame member, 2002 Kentucky State Sparring Champion, 2004 United States Martial Arts team member, 2004 World Heavy Weight Champion and participated in 2004 World Games in Athens, Greece; president and founder of the American Martial Forces Association and a published author in the Library of Congress.
