Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System in Radcliff will add 24 beds to accommodate adults coping with mental illness and/or chemical dependency.
Currently, the facility has 116 beds and provides care for children, adolescents and adults in crisis. LTBHS is also the local specialist for treating combat stress with customized programming for soldiers. LTBHS provides inpatient and outpatient treatment for our brave warriors and this new unit will be designed to meet the needs of this population. The new unit will include larger rooms, spacious classrooms and an activity therapy center.
Target for completion is December 2010. The hospital will continue to operate during the construction.
