Lincoln statue to be unveiled today in Springfield

A community-wide celebration is planned Wednesday in Springfield in conjunction with the dedication and unveiling ceremonies of a sculpture of President Abraham Lincoln.

The bronze sculpture was created as part of the Kentucky Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Commemoration. It is being placed in front of the new Washington County Judicial Center on Main Street in downtown Springfield.
